• BIG A’s The letter A' is a distinctive feature on Atkinson lorries, being displayed boldly on the radiator grille. The company initially produced steam wagons but began to feature more prominently in the world of road transportwith the advent of the diesel engine. A selection of such vehicles are studied.
• "YOU SEE THEM EVERYWHERE" Once the slogan of Bedfords, this marque was produced in Luton by Vauxhall Motors, the British subsidiary of General Motors. Developed from the Chevrolet range of lorries, the first Bedfords began to appear in the 1930's and examples are seen from this perlod onwards.
• LEYLAND LAMENT - Sadly the name of Leyland can no longer be seen emblazened across the front of modern lorries, but this company was once the proud builder of excellent commercial vehicles which served the road haulier well. A number of Leyland vehicles are studied and inpreservation provide a lasting tribute to this once prolific manufacturer.
• RARE BIRDS - Whilst several Atkinsons, Bedfords and Leylands have survived Into UK preservation, there are other makes that are not so common. Here we see lorries from the likes of Sentinel, International Harvester and Vulcan amongst others.
• ARTIC GEMS - To close with, this section is packed full of action featuring articulated combinations from several manufacturers.
