Whilst many buildings in the City Centre have survived to this day, the same cannot be said for the transport networks that once served it. The introduction of pedestrianisation is the most glaringly obvious change, reflecting modern day demands. This book therefore allows us to glimpse back to the days when the the city was served by extensive tram and trolleybus networks.
