Welcome Aboard!

It has been a long haul since 1985 when the very first Silver Link book rolled off the production line and was delivered to Carnforth in Cumbria - the original home of Silver Link Publishing Ltd. There have been many customers who have been with us throughout those almost 28 years. There are those who have collected every one of the BR Past & Present series and those who have hopped aboard for perhaps just the odd book or two, or three or...

To one and all we once again say THANK YOU and look forward to you joining us for the next 28 years! Our books are available through all good bookshops including many excellent independent bookshops, branches of WHSmith & Waterstones. WHERE IS IT?

The occasional competition from The NOSTALGIA Collection All you need do is email us your guess with Where? in the subject field. The competition runs until 12 midnight on the respective closing date.

The first correct answer received by the closing date: 31 March 2013 came from John Lancaster who correctly identified the location as Barrow-in-Furness John will shortly receive a copy of British Railways Past and Present No 65 South & West Northamptonshire signed by the author.

The next competition closes on 31 May 2013 and the mystery location captured by the Ray Ruffell's camera in April 1983 is shown below, but where is it? Email your answer to: sales@nostalgiacollection.com with WHERE in the subject field.
